Sands of Oblivion (SoO) is the twenty-second expansion for Warlord CCG and the third expansion after 4th Edition released. The set is comprised of 179 cards. It will be sold as seven 55-card Faction-based decks.

Sands of Oblivion is scheduled to release on November 30, 2009. Chronologically, it will be released after Crimson Coast.

Manufacturer's suggested retail price for each Faction-based deck will be $16.99.

On September 11, 2009 the following was posted on Warcraft-Shop.de:

The third expansion to the acclaimed "most balanced environment ever" contains sets 13-19. Each set consists of one faction-based deck of 55 cards.

The pre-order is valid until October 24th. All pre-orders paid until this date receive the promo card "Stone Golem" for 1 set (and a second copy for 4 and so on) ordered, the promo card "Sea Wasps" for the 2nd set ordered and the promo card "A Time for Heroes" for the 3rd set ordered.

The release date for Sands of Oblivion is November 30th, 2009.

Actual release date of the set was March 23, 2010.
