The set is comprised of 55 foil cards, with 15 of those being new and 40 being MRPs. 4E Treasure Chest marks the first time that PHOENIX Interactive produced foil cards. The 4E Treasure Chest was added to Warcraft-Shop.de of July 10, 2009. The set retails for $24.99 or €25.58.

Münster, July 10th

PHOENIX Interactive GmbH announces the newest product in their Warlord: Saga of the Storm 4th Edition CCG line: The Treasure Chest. This product contains 55 all-foil cards, 15 of which are totally new. The others are a best-of of both the most powerful and the most played cards of all factions and character classes.

“After proving we in fact are able to revitalize the Warlord CCG in a more player-friendly non-random environment with the successful expansions Shattered Empires and the recent Crimson Coast, we felt we need to let the players and our great design and playtesting teams catch their breath a bit”, confides PHOENIX Interactive president Arne Reuter. “Treasure Chest is a great set for serious players and collector’s, making staple cards like Incinerate, Judge Aeacus or Pagophoros available in an all new shiny form.”

Warlord: Treasure Chest is scheduled for release on August 31st, 2009.

The Warlord Treasure chest is a trove of 40 of the most-played cards in Warlord 4E plus 15 all new cards - all in Foil.

It contains cards for all Factions and Classes, for example Aegis, Incinerate, Pagophoros, Master Naxagoras, Judge Aeacus, Shroud of Lost Souls and the indispensible Camel.

Hi guys!

I am in a pinch: Today the printers informed me (and that wasn't what we had agreed upon earlier) that the Treasure Chest mini-expansion that is scheduled for August 30th has to be paid up front in full.

Now with GenCon coming up, etc., the funds simply aren't there to be paid next week (duh).

So in order to get the product to an early release at GenCon, I need will need your help!

The first thing, obviously, is that you can now pre-order the Treasure Chest from the online store.
